• The toothed belt is guided through a deflection pulley in
the tail rotor drive. Remove the attachment screw of the
deflection pulley and lift off the drive plate.
• Lift the toothed belt off the shaft (5) and slide the drive
shaft out of the bearing (ill. 22).
• Remove the two attachment screws (6) of the tail rotor
drive (ill. 23).
• Now the tail rotor is dismantled as shown in ill. 24.
• Pull the receiver antenna inwards.
• Remove the four screws in front of the main landing gear.
• Carefully pull out the entire mechanics forwards.
• For installation, proceed in reverse order.
• You must use screw attachment lacquer for screw
connections "metal to metal".
• Prior to the next start, you must check all screw
connections, functions, and the correct rotation direction
of the tail rotor. If the tail rotor turns the wrong way, you
have installed the drive belt to the tail rotor drive in the
wrong way.
