„Battery Type“:
Set the battery type used by you here. If the setting is incorrect then the control unit or the rechargeable
battery may be damaged (e.g. excessive discharging of a LiPo rechargeable battery).
This delivered vehicle and the including motor are exclusively suitable for use with NiMH
rechargeable batteries with 6 cells (nominal voltage 7.2V) or LiPo rechargeable batteries with 2
cells (nominal voltage 7.4V).
When using a drive battery with more cells, there is a danger of fire from overheating of the speed
controller. Apart from this, the vehicle’s drive will be overloaded and damaged by this (e.g. diffe-
rential). Loss of guarantee/warranty!
„Neutral Auto/Manual“:
In the „Auto“ setting the current position at the remote control is taken as the neutral setting
when the control unit is switched on.
In the „Manual“ setting you can programme the control unit’s neutral and full acceleration setting for forwards and
reverse later when the control unit is switched on for the first time.
See also chapter 10. a).
• Once the settings are complete press the „Enter“ button, the settings made on the programming card are transferred
to the control unit and saved, the motor emits 5 beeps.
• Switch off the speed controller („OFF“).
• Disconnect the driving battery from the speed controller.
• Remove the control unit from the programming card.
• Connect the speed controller to the receiver again.
Ensure correct connection, since the speed controller will not work otherwise.
• Switch on your transmitter (Check battery state!). Put the trim controls in centre position. Put the gas/braking lever in
neutral position and let go of it.
• Switch off the speed controller („OFF“), if you haven’t done it yet already.
• Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface so that the drive can turn freely. Then insert the driving battery into the
vehicle and connect it to the speed controller.
• Switch on the speed controller („ON“). The motor emits a variety of sounds.
Automatic recognition of the neutral position is active (setting „Neutral Auto“)
• The motor emits a confirmation sound „DO-RE-MI“ to show that the speed controller is active.
• Then the motor emits a further confirmation sound („DA-LA-DA-LA“), the current gas/brake lever setting is saved as
the neutral setting.
• The speed controller (and consequently the vehicle) is now ready for operation.
