Configuring Network Settings
This procedure describes how to set up the network settings and the IP address the system
uses for placing a call.
Consult with your network administrator to configure these fields.

If you are modifying the network settings after initial setup, navigate to Configure > Network
> GLAN 1 from the Main menu.
Procedure
Step 1
Press ok/menu and select one of the following from the IP Address Mode list:

Automatic: (Default) Select this option if the system gets its IP address automatically
(using DCHP).
The IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway, and DNS fields appear as read-only. See
for a description of these fields.

Manual: Select this option if you require a static IP address. This is required, for
example, if the XT Series is connected directly to the Internet, without any address
translation. Enter the fields as described in
