To access the Space Reclamation page, click the Utilities menu, and
then click the Space Reclamation tab.
The Space Reclamation page contains the following tabs:
• General
• Schedule
General
The General page allows you to start or stop space reclamation. You can
also monitor the progress of space reclamation activity.
Caution: Space reclamation may affect system performance. Avoid
running space reclamation during known backup periods.
To access the General page, on the Space Reclamation page, click the
General tab (see Figure 133 ).

The General page displays the following information about the current
or most recent space reclamation activity:
• Status - The status of space reclamation (see Space Reclamation
Status on page 237).
• Total Progress - The percentage complete of all space reclamation
activity.
