Replication Wizard
The Replication wizard provides guided assistance for configuring the
DXi4000 to send replicated data to another DXi system as part of
disaster recovery plan. The wizard can also help you configure the
DXi4000 to receive replicated data from another DXi system.
Sources
send
replicated data, and targets
receive
replicated data. A
target system can receive data from up to 10 sources. However, a source
system can send data to only a single target. Finally, one system can act
as both a source and a target.
Note: For more information about working with data replication, see
DXi4000 Replication on page 81.
Note:
Use the
Replication
wizard (or the
Configuration >
Replication
page) to configure other DXi systems that this
DXi4000 is configured to send replicated data to or receive
replicated data from. You should configure a target system
before configuring source systems.
To begin the
Replication
wizard, on the
Wizards
menu, click
Replication
.
Step 1: About
1 Read the information about the wizard (see Figure 29 ).
2 Click Next to continue.

return to the previous step.
