c. With the transducer hovering, tighten the screws on the bracket until tight. The transducer will be
level with the surface of the pipe, and no coupling will have moved from inserting the transducer
in the bracket.

10. Coupling compound only: If you need to make fine adjustments (±0.25”) to the spacing at this point, you
may do so by loosening the pipe clamps slightly and sliding the brackets while the transducers are
installed inside them. Tighten the pipe clamps when done.
