3. Apply a small amount of coupling compound on the first transducer and place this transducer in the
“reference” position. This is the position where the face of the transducer aligns with the 0 inch or 0 mm
mark on the built-in ruler. Tighten this transducer down using the built-in tightening bracket. Do not
over-tighten the screw.
