2D Handheld Reader
Image Window
The Received Image Window (default filename: [untitled]2.bmp) is
created and displayed automatically when an image is received from
the Reader (see Figure 14). You may send an image (or an image may
be sent) for one of the following reasons:
•
You request, via the OSPV utility software, that the Reader
capture and download an image.
•
You depress the trigger to capture an image when the Reader
is programmed to automatically send an image.
•
You attempt to capture and decode a symbol, but the Reader
– failing to decode it – downloads an image of the symbol for
troubleshooting purposes.
During an image download, OSPV displays the progress (percent
complete) and allows you to cancel the download. The image data
may be saved to file. Figure 14 shows the Image Window with a
downloaded image, cascaded over the desktop.
