iSCSI GbE to SAS/SATA II RAID Subsystem

User Manual

5.3.2 Entity Property

“Entity property”

is used to view the entity name of the iSCSI RAID subsystem, and

setup

“iSNS IP”

for iSNS (Internet Storage Name Service). iSNS protocol allows

automated discovery, management and configuration of

iSCSI

devices on a

TCP/IP

network. Using iSNS, it requires that an iSNS server be setup in the SAN. Add an iSNS
server IP address into iSNS server lists in order that iSCSI initiator service can send
queries.
