BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
LCD control displays with Bluetooth function can be connected to a Smartphone with the
AEG Bike app by bluetooth. The AEG Bike app shows information such as the current speed,
the precise battery charge status, etc. on the Smartphone. It is also possible to completely
operate the drive system via the AEG Bike app. The LCD control display is then completely re-
placed by the Smartphone. Observe that concurrent operation on the E-bike by app and con-
trol display is not possible.
Load the "AEG Bike." application to your Smartphone from the
AppStore for Apple iPhones or the Google Play Store for Android de-
vices. SAMSUNG Galaxy owners will find the App under "Samsung
Galaxy Apps" as well. If the app is not displayed when you search for
it, your operating system may not be new enough.
COUPLING YOUR SMARTPHONE TO THE E-BIKE
1. Switch on the drive system (see chapter Switching the drive system on/off).
2. Start the AEG Bike app on your Smartphone and switch on Bluetooth.
When first connecting by Bluetooth, you must enter the following coupling code to enable the
two devices to connect:
The AEG Bike app now shows the status information of your E-bike. The control continues to
use the remote control at the left side of the handlebar.
SWITCHING ON SMARTPHONE CONTROL
You can operate the E-bike via the AEG Bike app of your Smartphone instead of the remote

• Never hold your Smartphone in your hand during the ride, but put it into the provided
Smartphone pocket at the handlebar (can be purchased as an accessory). Danger of
accident!
• Only use the Smartphone with the ARG Bike app while cycling.
Never write any text messages, read texts or play games while cycling! Danger of
accident!
The coupling code for the Bluetooth connection from the AEG Bike app to your
Smartphone is:

• We recommend controlling the E-bike with the control display and to only use the
Smartphone to display information. You can thus leave your left hand on the
handlebar and control the E-bike comfortably and safely.
