GENERAL SAFETY NOTES • INTENDED USE
• The maximum permitted total weight of the E-bike must not exceed the value indicat -
ed in chapter "Technical data". The total weight includes the E-bike, the rider and any
load (e.g. basket and side bags, including contents, child seat incl. child, trailer includ-
ing trailing load.). Exceeding this may cause damage and accidents with a risk of inju -
ry!
• Technical changes may only be made in accordance with the legal regulations
prevailing in your country (Germany: StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing
Regulations)) and the DIN EN ISO specified on the rating plate, as well as any other
component-specific standards. This specifically applies to safety-relevant parts, such
as the frame, fork, handlebar, stem, saddle, seat post, luggage carrier (ISO 11243), all
brake components (specifically brake lever & brake linings), lights, foot pedal, wheels,
trailer couplings, tyres and tubes. Danger of breakage, damage and accidents!

These E-bikes are intended to be used on public roads and paved paths in their design and
equipment. The safety-technical equipment required for this is included and must be regular-
ly reviewed and, if necessary, repaired, by the user or a specialist.
Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer shall be liable for any use beyond this or non-obser-
vation of the safety-technical notes in these operating instructions and the damage that may
happen because of this. This shall specifically apply to use off-road, in sports competitions,
in case of overload of any kind and improper removal of defects and use in the commercial
area. Caravan and folding e-bikes are not meant for use with trailers.
Intended use shall also include compliance with the operating, servicing and care notes.

These type of E-bikes are intended for use on tracks and forest paths, gravel paths and light
off-road terrain. However, they are not suitable for use on public roads. The safety-technical
equipment required for this is not included and must be added by the user or a specialist if
necessary.
