Method of placing chocks

Chocks should be placed only under one wheel (one in front of the wheel, the
second behind the wheel - figure (2.1)). Chocks should not be placed under
wheels on turning axles.
•
Exceeding the maximum load capacity of the trailer may damage it, and also
threaten the safety of traffic and reduces the effectiveness of braking action.
•
Before using the trailer always check its technical condition, especially in terms of
safety. In particular, check the technical condition of the hitch system, the axle
system, the brake system, indicator lights and the connective elements of the
hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
