EMERGENCY RELEASE OF DIAPHRAGM ACTUATOR 

Pneumatic  system  failure  causing  air  release  from  brake  cylinders  results  in  braking  the 

trailer  by  means  of  diaphragm  actuators.  Emergency  release  of  these  actuators  involves 

putting  a  spring  under  tension  by  means  of  a  tensioning  bolt.  During  normal  operation,  the 

bolt is located in the actuator holder (5).
