In the event of damage to cover or seal, change these elements for new reliable elements.
Contact of pneumatic connector seals with oils, grease, petrol etc. may cause damage and
accelerate ageing process.
If the manure spreader is unhitched from the tractor, connectors should be protected by caps
or placed in their designated sockets. Before the winter period it is recommended to preserve
the seal with special preparations (e.g. silicon grease for rubber elements).
Each time before hitching the machine, inspect technical condition and cleanness of
connectors and sockets in tractor. If necessary, clean or repair tractor sockets.
Checking the manure spreader connections:

each time before hitching manure spreader to tractor.
5.3.7 REPLACEMENT OF PNEUMATIC CONDUIT
Pneumatic conduits should be replaced when permanently deformed, cut or frayed.
Required maintenance activities:
Release all pressure from the system.
Reduction of pressure is achieved by tilting the drain valve mandrel.
Remove the pneumatic conduit by loosening the nut (2).
Fit the new conduit.
The interior of the conduit should be clean.
The ends of the pneumatic conduit (1) must be cut exactly at right
angles.
Clamping ring (3) should be fitted according to figure (5.11).
Reinforcing sleeve (4) of the conduit must be thoroughly depressed.
Check tightness of connections in accordance with Chapter (5.3.2).
