17.2 Controlling multiple channels
Linked operation of any number of systems from 2 to 6 is possible from
the panel.
After selecting multiple chassis (see section 17.1), it is possible to select
crosspoints on the PST, PGM and AUX busses, audio-overs, turn keyers
on and off, operate the DVE and fade to black. These are all functions
available in normal operation and are detailed in the previous chapters.
Selecting the wipe pattern and DVE sequence via the touchscreen is only
operational on the first ‘active’ chassis connected to the panel (i.e. the
lowest number channel button lit).
To select wipe patterns or DVE sequences for other channels, it is
necessary to do this on each system before linking the channels
together.
It is possible to set all panels with different sources on PST bus,
different follows for DSKs and audio-overs, link them together and then
use
<TAKE>
or
<PRE-ROLL & TAKE>
to activate all transitions
simultaneously.
