6.4 Taking an audio-over to air
Any one of the four available Audio Overs can be cut or faded to air
independently of a PGM Audio transition.
If the
<CUT>
button is lit, the currently selected Over input is already
on-air.
If the yellow
<FOLLOW>
button is flashing, the selected Over input is
set to follow the next audio or DVE transition (section 6.6).
To take an over to air

Select the required Over input and set the PGM and OVER levels if
required (sections 6.1 to 6.3).

Press the
<CUT>
button.
The input is cut to air and the
<CUT>
button lights, indicating the
Over is on-air.
To fade an over to air

Select the required Over input and set the PGM and OVER levels if
required (sections 6.1 to 6.3).

Press the
<FADE>
button.
The Over and PGM levels fade to the preset levels. The
<FADE>
button is lit while a fade is in progress. If it is necessary to
complete the fade early, press
<CUT>
.
