3.6 Leading in audio before video

Select the required source to the PST bus. If applicable, roll the
machine (for example, a VTR) manually by pressing
<ROLL>
.
The machine is started, as shown on the PST monitor.

Press
<LEAD AUDIO>
to bring in the new audio source over the
current video and audio.
The new audio will mix with the current audio, instead of
replacing it, until the video is taken. The
<LEAD AUDIO>
button
will remain lit while it is active.

When desired, press
<TAKE>
to take the pre-selected video to air.
The red PGM source button lights at full brightness, corresponding
to the button pre-selected for video on PST. The transition is made
using the type and speed shown by the lit transition setup buttons.
The
<LEAD AUDIO>
button returns to its unlit state.
Note:
The lead audio can, at any time, be taken off air by pressing
the
<LEAD AUDIO>
button again.
