6 Using audio-overs
Four audio-overs are provided on the TX 410, enabling sound to be
added over the on air programme audio. The audio-over control section
is on the right hand side of the panel.
Audio-overs can be cut or faded to or from air and can be set to follow
the next audio or DVE transition. Only one audio-over can be on-air at a
time.
6.1 Setting the audio-over fade rate

From the home screen, press the
<AUDIO SETUP>
button (see
chapter 12).
The audio setup screen is displayed.

To select the over fade rate, press the
<OVER rate>
button (shown
as
<Over Slow>
above) until the required speed is displayed.
The display toggles between
<SLOW>
,
<MED>
, and
<FAST>
.
Note:
The rates are the same as the main video and audio transition
rates. The over adopts the same rate as the audio PST/PGM transition
when set to follow.
