4.3 Setting the DSK to follow the next
transition
Either or both DSKs can be set to ‘Follow’ the next video PST/PGM
transition or DVE move. If a DSK has been manually taken to air, it can
be ‘followed’ off. If it has been ‘followed’ on, it can be manually taken
off. The follow function cancels once the key is off-air.

Press the
<FOLLOW>
button for the required DSK.
The
<FOLLOW>
button will flash.
At the next PST/PGM video transition, the DSK will go on or off
depending on its status before the
<FOLLOW>
button was
activated. For a DVE transition, the DSK will only follow the DVE
state, with the DSK going on when the DVE goes on and off when
the DVE goes off.
The
<FOLLOW>
button will continue to flash until the DSK is off
air.

To cancel the DSK from following the next transition, press the
<FOLLOW>
button for the required DSK so that the lamp goes off.
