6.6 Setting the audio-over to follow the
next transition
An audio-over can be set to follow the next audio PST/PGM transition or
DVE move. If an audio-over has been manually taken to air, it can be
‘followed’ off. If it has been ‘followed’ on, it can be manually taken off.
The follow function cancels after it has been taken off air.
1
Press the OVER
<FOLLOW>
button. When ‘following’ an over on, it
is necessary to select an Over input then set the OVER and PGM
levels if required.
The
<FOLLOW>
button will flash.
At the next PST/PGM audio transition, the OVER will go on or off
depending on its status before the
<FOLLOW>
button was
activated. For a DVE transition, the OVER will only follow the DVE
state, with the OVER going on when the DVE goes on and off when
the DVE goes off.
The
<FOLLOW>
button will continue to flash until the OVER is off
air.
2
To cancel the OVER from following the next transition, press the
OVER
<FOLLOW>
