DSK keying mode
The <
SELF/EXT>
push buttons toggle between self or external keying.
Note: ‘EXT’ gives better quality therefore it is best to use this whenever
possible. The keyer must however be fed with an external key signal
DSK rate
The DSK rate selection is set by pressing the ‘soft’ button to toggle
round the three fade rates, <
SLOW>
, <
MED>
or <
FAST>
. The value
displayed on the key is the transition rate, in frames. This is set from
the transition rates screen (refer to the technical manual).
Clip rate
The left hand shaft encoder is used to set the DSK clip value. Percentage
bars for each keyer gives a visual indication of the currently selected
clip value.
Gain rate
The right hand shaft encoder is used to set the DSK gain value.
Percentage bars for each keyer give a visual indication of the currently
selected gain value.
