Congratulations on your purchase of a Plus 80 Uninterruptible
Power Supply! Your Plus online power protection will keep you from
losing valuable information due to unexpected power problems.
The Powerware Plus 80 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) continually monitors
incoming electrical power and
the surges, spikes, sags, and other
irregularities that are inherent in commercial power. Working with your
building’s electrical system, the Plus 80 will supply the clean, consistent power that
your sensitive electronic equipment requires for reliable operation. And during
brownouts, blackouts, and other power interruptions, one or more optional battery
cabinets can provide emergency power to safeguard your data.
Your UPS will function automatically and require very attention during normal
operation. However, you should read and understand the procedures described in
this book to ensure trouble-free operation. In should be thoroughly
