Safety Considerations
The UPS enclosures are designed for industrial or computer room applications. and
contain safety shields behind the doors. However, the UPS is a sophisticated power
system and should be handled with appropriate care, following these guidelines:
l
Keep surroundings clean and tree excess moisture.
l
Do not operate the UPS close to gas or heat
sources.
l
The system is not intended for outdoor use.
l
The UPS operating environment should be maintained within the
parameters stated in this book.
l
Keep the UPS doors closed to ensure proper cooling and
to protect personnel dangerous voltages inside the unlt.
l
The UPS contains own power source. Lethal voltages are’
present even when the UPS Is disconnected from power.
WARNING:
Only AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONNEL should or
maintenance on the UPS or battery.
If service or routine UPS maintenance is required:
l
Be sure all power before performing installation
or
l
Be sure the area around the UPS is clean and
uncluttered.
l
