DRIVELINE MODE DIAGNOSTICS
During testing, the unit can be operated slowly while on a lift to check correct wheel rotation, and Digital Wrench data
grids can be used to monitor Enabled/Disabled status of each solenoid.

*IMPORTANT: 2WD and 4WD Lock operations will be observed opposite if the front drive electrical connections are
swapped.
DRIVELINE MODES, GEAR POSITION, AND ENGINE STATUS
As the Pinion Disconnect and Differential Lock Solenoids must remain powered for the 2WD and 4WD Lock Driveline
Modes, as in the Driveline Mode Operations in Normal Conditions table, engine-off battery conservation requires a
specific mode strategy. These strategies are laid out in the tables below.
