The DOME DPMS screen saver for Windows NT offers a
powerful and flexible way to increase your monitor’s life
and decrease its power consumption. Display Power Man-
agement Signaling (DPMS) provides a method for shutting
off the video signal to a monitor when it has not been used
for a specified amount of time. This feature allows you to
reduce the amount of power your monitor uses and to
extend the life of your monitor’s CRT.
