Installing the Md5/PCI Board in a PC

Connecting the Monitor

Once the Md5/PCI board is installed in your system, con-
nect the monitor(s) to the board with the cable provided. 

To connect the monitor to the board

1. Attach the D-shell connector to the Md5/PCI board, 

securing the connection with the screws on the 
connector.

2. Attach each output cable to the appropriate BNC 

terminal on your monitor. Refer to the monitor 
documentation for more information.

The cable labeling in the illustration above applies to 
the DOME Md5/PCI cable. If you are using a cable 
from another source, the cable labeling may differ.
