6. Type in the viewable height of the monitor, indicating
inches or millimeters. For example, type
390 mm

After you enter all the information for the first board,
board zero (0), the program begins again by prompting:
Please enter the number corresponding to the
type for DOME board #1:
7. Continue answering these questions for all DOME
boards in your system.
8. Type
0
(zero) at this prompt to exit the program when
you have finished entering information for all the
DOME boards in your system.
This message appears:
Would you like to edit the driver config file
[y, n]?
9. Type
n

The installation rebuilds your kernel. It also saves your
old kernel to safeguard against potential problems. If
the new kernel does not boot, see “Booting problems
with the new kernel” on page 113.
10. Unmount the diskette and remove it from the disk
drive by typing:
# unmount /mnt
11. Shut down your system with this command:
# shutdown -h now
12. When the >>> console prompt appears, you can safely
turn off the power to your system.
Do not edit the driver configuration file unless you
have extensive experience editing such files.
Make sure you know the kit name before you shut
down the system. See “To determine the kit name” on
page 109.
