Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Inlet Fan

Vari-Lite Part No:  23.9704.1002

To replace inlet fan:

Step 1. Remove tilt lock side front side rail cover following the procedure described in 

“Front Side 

Rail Covers” on page 60

.

Step 2. Noting placement and cable ties cut during this step, disconnect the following wiring: 

a. Disconnect fan wiring from driver board.
b. Disconnect top fan from driver board F.
c. Disconnect bottom Fan from driver board E.

Step 3. At fan to be removed, remove 2 x 10-16 x 3/8" thread cutting screws and remove fan. Note 

orientation of fan being replaced. Replacement fan must face same direction.

Step 4. Replace in reverse order. Be sure to replace an cables ties cut during removal process.

Note:

Drawing exploded and some
