Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Igniter Assembly

Vari-Lite Part No:  24.9704.1126

To replace igniter assembly:

Step 1. Remove tilt lock side yoke arm cover following the procedure described in 

“Yoke Arm 

Covers Removal” on page 46

.

Step 2. At igniter, remove 4 x 6-32 terminal screws and remove input and output wiring. 

Note these 

screws MUST be used to attach wiring. Save and use on replacement igniter.

Step 3. Remove 2 6-32 x 5/16" PPZ SEMS screws and remove two cable saddles.
Step 4. Remove 2 6-32 x 5/16" PPZ SEMS screws and 2 x ¼" HEX 6-32 x 0.75" Standoff and 

remove igniter.

Step 5. Replace in reverse noting the following: 

a. Ensure to orient the igniter with the 

TO BULB

 terminals towards the tilt lock.

b. When installing the input wires on the 

FROM RELAY

 terminals, bias the wires away 

from the cable saddle.
