Tilt Driver

Vari-Lite Part No:  24.9704.1908

To replace the tilt driver:

Step 1. Remove yoke arm cover opposite tilt lock following the procedure described in 

“Yoke Arm 

Covers Removal” on page 46

.

Step 2. Disconnect wiring from tilt driver.
Step 3. Depending on the tilt driver type, do one of the following:

a.

Type 1

 - Remove 4 x 4-40 x ¼" PPZ Screws and remove board.

b.

Type 2

 - Using 3/16" Nut Driver, remove 4 x Standoff 3/16" HEX FF 0.25LG and 

remove board.

Note:  

If replacing tilt driver, be sure and move the thermal pad from older driver to new tilt driver.

Step 4. Replace in reverse
