Main Control Board (MCB)

To remove MCB:

Step 1. Remove display side upper enclosure cover following the procedure described in 

“Upper 

Enclosure Covers Removal” on page 25

Step 2. Remove Lamp Driver Insulation Duct following the procedure described in 

“Lamp Driver 

Insulation Duct Removal” on page 27

.

WARNING:  

Do not handle or ship the MCB with the battery installed.

Step 3. Battery must be removed before proceeding. Remove battery from MCB. 

See current 

version of Technical Notice TN-352 for more information on battery removal.

Step 4. At front cover, remove second 6-32 x 3/8" PFSS-B screw from the left.
