Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Edge Motor Brackets and Support Brace Removal

To remove edge motor brackets and support brace:

Step 1. Remove Gobo / Shutter / Animation Assembly following procedure in 

“Gobo / Shutter / 

Animation Assembly Removal” on page 64

.

Step 2. Remove 1 of the 2 motor assemblies:

a. Remove 3 x 8-32 x 3/8" PPZ SEMS screws holding support brace to motor bracket 

assembly.

b. At motor, remove 2 x 6-32 x 3/8" PPZ screws holding motor to assembly.

Step 3. Using manual adjuster, thread lead screw out of bracket until it can be lifted off, then 

continue to thread lead screw until it can be removed.

Note:  

If replacing edge motor assembly (21.9704.0255), replace in reverse from here - do not 

continue to next step.

Step 4. If removing entire edge assembly at remaining motor, remove 2 x 6-32 x 3/8" PPZ screws 

holding motor to assembly.

Step 5. Using manual adjuster, threat lead screw out of bracket until it can be lifted off, then 

continue to thread lead screw until motor can be removed.

Step 6. Replace in reverse.
