Introduction

The RamanStation 400 and RamanStation 400F combined with the Spectrum software are

very flexible instruments. The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided in this chapter

demonstrate how to perform a number of tasks, which you can use as a starting point to

develop your own SOPs that better suit your specific mode of use. This chapter also acts as a

“learn by doing” section, allowing you to explore the functionality of the software and the

spectrometer.

The General SOPs demonstrate how to setup your instrument and software. For SOPs that
