6:Troubleshooting

The following sections describe some of the issues that may arise as 
you use Core:Tx, along with solutions.

If you cannot find a solution using this information, you can

Installation and Password Issues

Problem or symptom

Solution

I put the installation CD 
in my computer’s drive 
and nothing happened. 

Double-click the My Computer icon on your 
computer desktop, double-click the CD-ROM 
drive that contains the Core:Tx installation CD, 
then double-click the setup.exe file. 

A message displays 
during installation that 
says my computer does 
not meet the minimum 
system requirements. 

Your computer is currently unable to run 
Core:Tx. You must upgrade your computer’s 
memory, video card, disk space, or screen 
resolution as indicated in the message

I have forgotten my 
Core:Tx password.

Use the original Core:Tx installation CD to re-
