2 Enter your password and press space bar .
• The Admin panel displays.
3 Use the arrow keys to select New Patient Data and press space
bar .
• The New Patient Info. panel displays.
4 In the First Name text box, enter the patient’s first name.
5 In the Last Name text box, enter the patient’s last name.
6 In the Notes text box, enter any additional information you
want to store about the patient.
7 Use the arrow keys to select Save Name and press space bar .
• The Save Patient Info? window displays, with the
information you entered.
8 Click OK to save the patient data.
• The system saves the patient’s data and returns to the
Admin panel.
• If the patient’s name already exists in the Core:Tx database,
a message displays telling you that the patient already
exists. If this is the same patient, click
Cancel and open the
patient’s information. For more information see “Opening
Patient Data” on page 20. If this is a different patient with
the same name, enter a middle initial in the First Name text
box or some other character in the First Name or Last
Name text box to distinguish the two patients.
• To cancel the new data, click Cancel .
