Ankle Inversion/Eversion
Purpose of Exercise:
To promote neuromuscular control during
ankle inversion and eversion. Exercise variations allow you to
emphasize gains in strength or motion as well
Preparation/Positioning:
The patient should be seated in a chair
with the lower leg supported and the ankle/foot unsupported.
Apply the Core:Tx transceiver to the plantar aspect of the ball of
the foot, as shown above, with a light gray strap. Instruct the
patient in the required movement of inversion/eversion, and set up
the activity as shown below.
