Turning the System On and Off
It is very important that you follow the steps outlined below when turning the
NanoPlus system on and off.
1.
Turn on the computer.
2.
Place the power switch on the left panel of the analyzer in the ON ( | ) position.
Orange: during startup
Green: startup complete
3.
Double-click the
NanoPlus
icon on your desktop or select the application from your
Programs list.
• If your Security settings are set to
Security
or
21 CFR Part 11
, a dialog prompting you to
enter your
User ID
and
Password
is displayed.
• After a brief initialization, the opening screen of the software is displayed.
4.
Allow approximately 30 minutes for the system to stabilize before taking measurements.
To turn off the system:
1.
Select
File > Exit
to close the NanoPlus software; the Quit dialog is displayed.
If your Security settings are set to
Security
or
21 CFR Part 11
, you will be automatically
logged out when you click
OK
.
2.
Allow the instrument to complete shut-down routine, then turn off the instrument.
3.
Turn off the computer.
