Performing Confidential Print (Windows-PCL Only)

This function is available in Windows only (not available in Macintosh).
Perform the Confidential Print according to the following outline steps:

1. Spool a print job in the printer.

Refer to 

“Saving a Print Job” on page 48

 (be sure to use the PCL printer driver). Select 

Confidential

 

Print

 instead of Check and Print and enter the password [Max. 16 numbers (0 - 9)]. 

The document is not printed when printing the document at step 4. 

2. Print the desired copies of the document (see 

 “Printing a Confidential Print Job”

 below).

MENU/EXIT (PAUSE)

 button on the printer panel.

Confidential Print
