Color Appearance
When selecting Monochrome, color image is printed in monochrome. However, the toner to print
depends on the setting of the Color Management (
see “Color Management” on page 164
).
When selecting Grayscale, the black toner is only used to print. If selecting the setting except
Grayscale when printing a monochrome image, all color toners (CMYK) may be used to print.

Scaling
Reduces or enlarges output on the printed page from 1% to 1000%.

TrueType Font
If selecting
Substitute with Device Font
, the printer uses the equivalent PostScript fonts instead
of TrueType fonts. The print speed may be faster. However, special characters may not be printed
correctly. If selecting
Download as Soft font
, printer uses TrueType fonts downloaded from your
computer.
