The 

Setup for Status Display

 allows you to change the start up setting of the Status Display.

1

Status Display Type

The Status Display is displayed or not depending on the Status Display Type as follows if the 
Status Display window is closed after displaying the Status Display window.

• Auto

The Status Display is automatically displayed when a printer error has occurred.

• Manual

The

 

Status Display is not displayed when a printer error has occurred.

To display the Status Display window to see the printer status,

(1) Select 

Status Display

 from the 

Finder

 menu on the desktop screen.

(2) Select 

New

 from the 

File

 menu.

Beep

Beeps when a printer error has occurred.

Edit URL

Click this button to display the Edit URL window. It allows you to edit the shop’s URL to display the 

Re-order Supplies

 Web link and enable/disable the function.

Clicking on the 

Enable

 check button enables you to display the 

Re-order Supplies

 Web link 

automatically when warning or error condition of supplies occurs (

see “Function of the Status 

Display” on page 283

).
