If the Check and Print is turned on using the printer driver, the print job is saved in the printer’s hard disk
drive after printing one copy of your document. By using the Check and Print function, you can print
copies of your document by using the data saved in the printer’s hard disk drive after reviewing the
document. You can print the saved data using the
Menu mode
(
see “Performing Check and Print
(Windows Only)” on page 48
) of the printer or
HDD Utility
. Be sure no documents are being printed
while spooling a print job in the printer.
Perform the Check and Print according to the following outline steps:
1. Print a document and spool the print job in the printer (see “Printing and Spooling a Print Job”
below).
2. Check whether the document is correctly printed.
3. Print the desired copies of the document (
see “Printing the Desired Copies” on page 219
).
The Check and Print job in the hard disk drive is deleted after the desired copies of your document
are printed.
NOTE:
• To print only one trial print, be sure that you set the number of copies in the printer driver, not
application software.

Display the print window in your application.
