SD Memory Card

Removing the Card

CAUTION

z

Do not remove a card while your computer is in the standby or hibernation mode.

z

Save important data and close each application.

Confirm the SD Memory Card indicator (C) turns off completely.

Disable the card function.

A

Double-click 

 on the taskbar.

B

Select [Secure Digital Storage Device], then select [Stop].

C

Follow the on-screen instructions.

This step is not necessary when removing the card after the computer is turned off.

When you press the card, it will come out of the slot a little bit. Now 
pull it all the way out.

z

If you try to force the card out of the slot while it is locked in place, the card or 
slot may be damaged.
