[Port Forwarding] settings
These settings are only required if you need to configure your wireless router’s port forwarding feature in
order to connect to the camera while away from home.

In order to use this feature, you must first configure the camera to use a static IP address ( “Changing
IP settings”, Page 171).

Turn on the
[Enable]
radio button.

Tap field number 1 and enter the desired port number.

A value must be assigned to each port.

Only port numbers 62000–63000 can be assigned.

Configure your wireless router’s port forwarding feature to forward these ports to the static IP
address that you have assigned to the camera.

When finished, tap
[OK]

[MTU Settings] (maximum data size setting)
This setting affects how data is sent over the network. Typically this setting does not need to be changed.

Deleting wireless access points
The app remembers the SSIDs of wireless routers that you use at home to connect to the camera; it can
remember 10 SSIDs, and saves them in the wireless access point list. If the list is full and you try to
connect to the camera using a new SSID while at home, the app may connect to the camera over the
Internet even though you are at home. In this case, we recommend deleting unused SSIDs from the
wireless access point list.

Select the wireless access point that you want to delete and then tap
[Delete]

You cannot delete the wireless access point that your mobile device is currently connected to.
Updating the HD camera’s firmware
You can use this feature to check for a newer version of the camera firmware (i.e., system software). If a
newer version is found, you can update the firmware.
