3-6-3 Pattern C: Large PLCs in Multi-level or Single-level LK009 Mode
The pattern C system contains only large PLCs (C500, C1000H, and
C2000H) operating in single-level LK009 mode. All 3G2A5-LK009 PC Link
Units in the PC Link must be replaced with C500-LK009-V1 PC Link Units.

Use the following checklist when replacing a 3G2A5-LK009 with a C500-
LK009-V1.
LR Area LR 00 to LR 31 CIO 1000 to CIO 1063 When the PC Link Unit is set
to single-level LK003 mode,
the level #1 PC Link Unit
Restart Bit does not function.
N is the CPU Bus Unit’s unit
number.
When the CVM1-LK401 is set
to single-level mode, the Level
Flag for level #1 does not func-
tion.

switch setting.
Check the node address set-
tings on other nodes in the PC
Link to confirm that the same
address is not already taken.
A Unit error will not be
detected if the same node
address is set on two PC Link
Units in the same PC Link, but
there will be data errors in the
LR Area.
Number of LR
Bits Check setting on pins 6 to 8:

Make the “number of LR bits”
setting on the polling node
(node 0) in the PC Link. The

nodes) are ignored.
