Troubleshooting with
LED Indicators
Use the following table to identify and correct errors based on the LED Indica-
tor status.

The PC Link Unit is faulty.
Mount the Unit in another CPU Rack
and replace the Unit if the Error
recurs.
Power is not being supplied prop-
erly to the CPU Unit.
Check the power supply voltage and
supply the proper power.
The PC Link Unit is not mounted
securely.
Secure the Unit in the Rack.
The PC Link Unit is mounted in a
slot that does not support it.
Mount the Unit in a slot that supports
it.

Local node is the polling node
(node 0):
The affected Unit is not in the
CPU Unit’s I/O Table or is regis-
tered incorrectly.
Create a correct I/O table.
Local node is the polling node
(node 0):
The CPU Unit is faulty or an error
occurred in the CPU Unit so the
Unit is not being serviced.
Eliminate the CPU Unit’s error.
Replace the CPU Unit if the error
recurs.
Local node is the polling node
(node 0):
The CPU Bus Unit unit number is
not within the allowed range.
Set the PC Link Unit’s unit number
(as a CPU Bus Unit) between 0 and
15.
Local node is the polling node
(node 0):
The same unit number is set on
another CPU Bus Unit in the PLC.
Set the unit numbers again to elimi-
nate the duplication.
