Select and set the appropriate type of Remote I/O for your application in parameter P046.
*1 Special I/O differs from the conventional Special I/O in the data format.
*2 In Flexible Format, the number of occupied bytes changes depending on the number of allocated Modbus reg-
isters.
Additional Information
The CompoNet Communications Unit supports read/write of double-word data. Refer to

Precautions for Correct Use
• During network connection, the Remote I/O is not updated even if parameter P046 is
changed. To update the Remote I/O setting, cycle the inverter's input power supply.
• Using the CompoNet Communications Unit disables the inverter's Modbus communication
function. Do not connect the communications cable to Modbus interface.
