CAUTION
Use the following equipment compatible with the PDD observation mode to perform
the PDD observation. Otherwise, the PDD observation cannot be performed
properly.

Light guide cable, such as A93200A

Endoscope, such as WA20016A and WA20018A

Camera head, such as OTV-S7Pro-FD
NOTE
• Contact Olympus for details on installing the optional PDD filter (MAJ-1429).
• When the foot switch (MAJ-1391, optional) is connected to the light source, the
observation mode can be switched during naked-eye PDD observation using the
foot switch instead of the observation mode button. However, when the video
system center is ON, the function of the foot switch depends on the settings of the
video system center.
• The settings for observation mode are not retained after the light source is turned
OFF. The light source is always in the normal light observation mode at the moment
it is turned ON.
• Optical-digital observation can also be activated via the endoscope switches when
this function has been activated in the video system center.
• The observation mode selection indicators lights up in conjunction with the indicator
of the video system center.

Press the observation mode button: the
observation mode indicator “ON” lights up, and
the observation mode changes to the
optical-digital observation indicated by the
observation mode selection indicator.

Press the observation mode button again: the observation mode indicator “STBY”
lights up, and the observation mode changes to the normal observation mode.
