Optical-digital observation is available when the light source is used in combination with the
videoscope or camera head compatible with the optical-digital observation. Confirm that the
optical-digital observation mode is switched.
The PDD observation is available when installing an optional PDD filter (MAJ-1429) in the light source.

Confirm that the observation mode selection
indicators show the available optical-digital
observation modes.

Press the observation mode button on the front
panel to light up the observation mode indicator
“ON”. Confirm that the endoscopic image is
displayed in the optical-digital observation
indicated by the observation mode selection
indicator.

Press the observation mode button. The observation mode indicator “STBY” lights up,
and the instrument returns to the normal light observation mode. (See Figure 4.16)
