4.2.2 Pipet Primers and Samples into the 96.96 or 48.48 chip
IMPORTANT:
• Vortex all primers, samples, and control reagents thoroughly, then centrifuge them to collect contents before
removing the plate seals and pipetting the mixes into the chip inlets. Failure to do so may result in a decrease in
data quality.
• While pipetting, do not go past the first stop on the pipette. Doing so may introduce air bubbles into inlets.
• Follow the best practices for preventing bubbles, see
.
or
as appropriate when pipetting the final sample and primer mixes into the 96.96 or 48.48
chip. Note the orientation of the A1 corner. The barcoded edge is on the left side.
NOTE:
Olink recommends using the reverse pipetting method when pipetting the sample and primer mixes. See
the Olink
®
Target 96 User Manual (Olink 0935) or the Olink
®
Target 48 User Manual (Olink 1141).
1. Remove the interface plate from the prepared chip.
2. Pipet 5 μL of each final sample mix into the respective sample inlets on the chip.
3. Pipet 5 μL of each final primer mix into the respective primer inlets on the chip.
4. Replace the interface plate over the chip, aligning the barcoded edges.
5. Use clear tape to remove any dust particles or debris from the chip surface, if necessary.
IMPORTANT:
Run the chip on Olink Signature Q100 within 60 min of pipetting the samples and primers.
