5.1 Run Instrument Checks
You can run two types of instrument checks:
• Comprehensive:
Checks all components to make sure everything is working correctly (for example, opens and closes
valves, raises and lowers the camera, etc.). The comprehensive check takes 8–10 min to complete.
• Quick:
Checks that all components are connected and communicating properly. The quick check takes 5–8 min to
complete.
NOTE:
If a chip is located in the instrument, it is not possible to execute the "Run Instrument Checks".
Remove the chip before starting the check
1. On the touchscreen, tap
Settings
>
Instrument Check
.
2. Tap
Run Instrument Check
.
3. In the
Run Instrument Check
window, tap the type of check you want to run.
4. Tap
Start
. When the test is complete, the new log file appears in the Instrument Logs list.
